Bull Riding

Established in 1939

All this 130 to 155 pound cowboy has to do is stay on this 2000 pound bull for eight seconds!  Easy? No, it is not. These animals have loose skin that slides and rolls. The cowboy only has a hold with only one hand. He can not touch the animal with the other hand. Bull riding is always a big favorite with the fans. The bulls will spin, and drop one shoulder or the other throw all kinds of forces at the rider trying to unseat him. Unless the bull rider is fully centered, mentally and physically, his ride is doomed.
